- Turn off the printer for 10 seconds by removing power and USB cable. Plug the printer back in with first power and then USB cable. Do note that it is possible that a 'new' printer gets added to the system since the serial number was 'fixed'. Open up Dymo Label Software and make a test print from the 'new' printer.
- Ensure that your LabelWriter is unplugged from the USB and delete (if there are any) installed DYMO LabelWriter printer(s). You can do this by going to System Preferences Hardware Print & Scan or Print & Fax. Then, select the Dymo LabelWriter and click the minus sign (-) to delete the printer.

After installing DYMO Label software, you must log in as Administrator and run QuickBooks at least once for the Add-in button to appear in the toolbar. You can then run QuickBooks in normal mode and the add-in button will be visible.
